Odjel za matematiku Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku organizira predavanje On the Bounded-Hop Power Assignment Problem, na engleskom jeziku


NAJAVA – Predavanje će se održati u srijedu, 13. svibnja 2015. godine s početkom u 12 sati u predavaonici broj 2 na Odjelu za matematiku Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku (Trg Ljudevita Gaja 6).

[br] S obzirom da je riječ o predavanju na engleskom jeziku, na tom jeziku objavljujemo i kratak opis predavanja:

We will present the problem of assigning transmission ranges to radio stations in the plane such that any pair of stations can communicate within a bounded number of hops h and the cost of the network is minimized. The cost of transmitting in a range is proportional to , where ≥ 1.
This will be an overview talk, presenting the state-of-the-art results known so far. In addition to that several open problem will be presented. Most of the results presented will be based on ideas and techniques presented in [6].
