The Senate is an elective professional body of the University, which is elected in accordance with the University Statute, and which assures representation of all scientific-teaching and artistic-teaching University units as well as various fields of science.
\nThe Senate is composed of eighteen (18) members that represent teachers in scientific-teaching or artistic-teaching grades, who are as a rule deans or heads of each scientific-teaching and artistic-teaching University unit or other employees, five (5) representatives of the students, as of the Statute of the University Students’ Union, three (3) representatives of other employees (heads or other employees of the City and University Library Osijek, the Student Centre in Osijek), and one (1) representative of teachers in teaching, associate and professional grades, as well as administrative-professional and technical staff.<\/p>\n
