On 24 May 2022, Prof. Dr. Kim Sang Hun, professor of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, the Department of South Slavic Languages of the Faculty of East European and Balkan Studies, visited the Faculty of Education of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. Professor Kim Sang Hun was hosted by Prof. Dr. Emina Berbić Kolar, Vice-Dean for Teaching. They agreed on possibilities for mutual cooperation in form of joint project application, guest lecturing, exchange of students and teachers, organisation of joint conferences, and cooperation in the editorial boards of the Faculty journals. Professor Kim Sang Hun expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the Faculty of Education in all mutual areas of activities. He was impressed with the University of Osijek Campus, its facilities and equipment. The cooperation between both Universities has a good perspective and a lot of potential for development. This visit is only the first step in building of mutual support for achieving internationalisation with a country like South Korea, which opens up new areas and offers new opportunities.
