In June 2022, the 6th International Staff Week was organised by the International Relations Office of the University of Osijek. After welcome meeting and a welcome speech given by Prof. Dr. Sonja Vila, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Lidija Getto, Head of the International Relations Office, and Josipa Pleša, Erasmus coordinator presented the University of Osijek. Since this five-day meeting usually deals with issues and topics of internationalisation and interuniversity and international cooperation, in addition to participants from abroad, presentations and lectures were also held by the University of Osijek representatives, Prof. Dr. Dražen Ćućić from the Faculty of Economics, and Igor Mavrin, Ph.D. from the Academy of Arts and Culture. The presentation topics referred to issues of Erasmus+ mobility of students and staff during the pandemic and the organisation of international festivals in the subject area of arts. Invited lecturers were Prof. Dr. Oliver Andonov and Prof. Dr. Jugoslav Ackoski from the partner institution, the Military Academy in Skopje. Both lecturers highlighted the importance of internationalisation of higher education at military higher education institutions. During the meeting, the agreement was reached to establish cooperation in the STEM area. Special attention of the participants was attracted by the presentation of Alicia Quevedo Gomez, a graduate student of international relations from the University of Mexico, who is currently working as a student trainee in the International Relations Office of the University of Osijek. She presented the culture and life of Mexico with special reference to international activities of students in Mexico.
