The University of Osijek (UNIOS) is welcoming 88 Erasmus+ exchange students for the summer semester of 2025. For the 13th consecutive year, the UNIOS International Relations Office and Erasmus Student Network Osijek – ESN organised a Welcome Day to give a warm reception to students arriving from across Europe. This year, the most of our exchange students came from Spain, Turkey, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Germany, France, North Macedonia and Serbia. The majority of student are enrolled at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Law.
At the welcome reception, our incoming exchange students were greeted by Klaudija Kulešević, Erasmus+ incoming student coordinator, who provided academic and administrative guidance to students. Prof. Dr. Ana Mikić Čolić, Professor of Croatian language and literature, introduced students to the opportunity of enrolling the Croatian language course and learning about Croatian culture during the exchange semester in Osijek. Additionally, Ivana Nuić, ESN President, informed our exchange students about great social events that await them in this summer semester to make Osijek and Croatia their second home and their Erasmus+ experience an unforgettable one!
