On October 8th, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University organised its traditional Erasmus+ Welcome Day, greeting nearly 70 students from 13 different countries, including Germany, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and beyond. These bright young minds have arrived from across Europe to study in the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, ready to embark on an unforgettable international experience.
The students were warmly welcomed by Ms. Klaudija Kulešević from International Relations Office, Prof. Dr. Ana Mikić Čolić, lecturer of Croatian language and Ms. Ivana Nuić from the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), who guided them through essential academic and administrative information to ensure a smooth transition. The day didn’t stop there—students enjoyed a lunch at the University, followed by a guided tour of Osijek to learn about city’s rich traditions and vibrant culture, setting the stage for a memorable semester ahead.
