We are pleased to invite you to submit a contribution to the international closing conference of the AILEM project (Erasmus+ KA220-HED), _Teaching the Future: Artificial Intelligence Meets Language for Specific Purposes_, taking place on 13-14 May, 2027 in Osijek, hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek.
The conference brings together ESP/LSP educators, researchers, practitioners and students to share their work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and specialized language teaching. Contributions are welcome as short papers, posters, teaching demonstrations and round tables, covering topics such as AI tools for LSP/ESP content development, responsible AI use in language education, large language models, chatbots, automated feedback and assessment, prompt engineering and related topics.
The deadline for abstract submissions (500 words maximum) is 15 January, 2027, with acceptance notifications sent by 31 January, 2027.
Participation is free of charge. All participants receive a certificate of participation, the option to publish in the conference proceedings with ISBN, and a microcredential with an open badge. The best innovative paper on AI use in LSP will receive the AILEM Prize and be featured in the AILEM miniMOOC.
